Yeah if we applied the same

laws and regulations to automobiles, that they want to apply to guns, it would look something like this

After all the development of automobiles has it's roots within the giant military complex, so that troops could kill more effectively,  and automobiles kill injure, and cause more suicides than guns.

There are 257 Million cars out there and they account for over 32,000 deaths every year  In 2011 57 police officers were killed due to motor vehicle  events, compared to 49 officers killed by gunfire in 2012, 2012 also accounted for 52 officers killed in motor vehicle events.

The economic impact is also notable: the lifetime costs of crash-related deaths and injuries among drivers and passengers were $70 billion in 2005.

In 2010, 32,885 people died in motor vehicle crashes and an additional 2,243,000 people were injured. Economic impact was around 99 Billion dollars

Really isn't it time we passed sensible safe vehicle laws? Really only the police and military "Need" vehicles that can exceed 40 mph.
