OK now join the NRA
Record Gun Sales!
Record gun sales the day after Thanksgiving confirm the fact that the general public is well aware President Obama simply can't be trusted with our gun rights.
A new single-day record for point-of-sale background checkswas estimated on Black Friday, November 23, when 154,873 were conducted by the FBI National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). That total was nearly 20 percent more than the previous high of 129,166 set on Black Friday last year. Since a federal background check is mandatory for every firearm sold at retail, background check activity serves as an indicator of retail gun sales.

NRA membership and gun sales should go hand in hand. Americans know that this president will take away our gun rights at the first opportunity. Make sure that they also know it is vital to join NRA today!

The Cost of not being a responsible citizen
and not voting
Citizens take part in the process, subjects accept what the government gives them, and if you do not take part in the process, soon there will not be one.

You all know
That if all 80 million gun owners would have voted their gun rights, we wouldn't be getting calls from the NRA today for donations, now having only a $150 bucks come in so far this month, giving $50 was a tough call. So if the other 4.4 million members would donate $25 each, NRA would have enough to fight the fight
Hmm sounds like

U.N. CELEBRATES OBAMA RE-ELECTION BY PUSHING GLOBAL GUN CONTROL
For Immediate Release: 11/7/2012
BELLEVUE, WA – Less than 24 hours after winning re-election, President Barack Obama’s administration joined with China, France, Germany and the United Kingdom, and more than 150 other governments, in supporting renewed debate on the proposed United Nations Arms Trade Treaty, confirming the worst fears of the American gun rights community. The vote came at the U.N. General Assembly’s meeting of the First Committee on Disarmament at the world organization’s headquarters in New York City.
“It’s obvious that our warnings over the past several months have been true,” said Alan Gottlieb, founder and executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation. “The election was called about 11 p.m. Tuesday and by 11 a.m. this morning, we got word that the United States was supporting this resolution. We have to be more vigilant in our efforts to stop this proposed treaty.”
SAF Operations Director Julianne Versnel, who has been back and forth to the United Nations over this proposal, said the fight is not finished. The measure will be considered for finalization in March 2013.
“We will continue to monitor this issue and oppose any effort to enforce a global gun control measure,” she stated.
Amnesty International issued a statement Wednesday lauding passage of the resolution, saying the treaty will protect human rights.
“The right of self-defense is a human right,” Gottlieb countered, “and in this country, the Second Amendment protects that right.
“Just days ago as he campaigned for re-election,” he concluded, “Barack Obama told his supporters that voting is the ‘best revenge.’ I guess now we know what he was talking about. The revenge he seeks is against American gun owners and their Second Amendment rights.”

Just what did they mean by
Well Regulated?
The 17th century folks used the term “standing army” or “regulars” to describe a professional army. Therefore, “a well regulated militia” only means a well equipped militia that was organized and maintained internal discipline. It does not imply the modern meaning of “regulated,” which means controlled or administered by some superior entity.
What did they mean by Militia?
So in modern language:
A trained and well equipped people being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed

Finally Help Arrives
And the victims attack them, response?, pull the help out, way to go
I for one am impressed at how fast they are getting things back up and running, when you consider the sheer size of the storm, and the amount of destruction and the fact they are not taking all the help offered

Hmm and over half of those "Gun" deaths are suicide (kind of hard to pass laws that keep people from killing themselves, what would be the punishment, make them live forever?)
How many of those "Gun" deaths were legal intervention, or legal self defense?
Experts surmise about 11%
Chicago PD did a study that estimated of 70% of homicides (all methods) the victims were felons (Not exactly a lost to society.)
So once you factor out suicides, and felons being killed that leaves about 3900, subtract about 700 for accidents and you are down to about 3200, now while still tragic, it might well be of a better benefit to do things to control drivers under the influence (DUI's kill around 10,000, and injure thousands of others year in and year out, but we blame the individual, not the car or what they consumed)
Also bear in mind that the St Louis Public Law Review estimated that armed citizens stop 400,000 violent crimes per year, and deter an additional 800,000, and that is one of the more conservative studies done on use of guns by law abiding citizens.
So stricter gun laws stop violence? explain Chicago to us.
So before you make up your mind about things, you might want to consider more than one source, and check your sources.
