Something followed me home from gun-show

9mm Colt Combat Commander Series 70

It had original Colt grips, but I had a spare set of CT grips I installed, it is my first Colt pistol, does show some use, outside, but shoots real well.

In 9? VERY COOL! Probably insignificant recoil, as well.
Good for you! - gfa

a 1911 in 9mm is like cheating ;=}

Yeah 9x19 in an all-stainless gun shouldn't buck much at all!

Nice find. Like that it doesn't have the colt "Duckbill" grip safety that keeps from getting a good high grip.

Is it a Series 70?

Also nice that it comes with the idiot scratch pre-installed! That should save you the trouble of installing one yourself!

Yes it is a series 70, I'm thinking a mid 70's model
