I was asked to speak at a local tea party event

First off I want to thank the community for inviting me, & I’d like to, Thank you for attending. Now I ask you why are these get events of Freemen & Freewomen exercising their right to assemblage & free speech cause both the liberal politicians, & the media so much concern, especially when the gathering venue also allows those free people to exercise their right to carry a gun? Because they fear the loss of their power!

To Quote Jeff Snyder author of A Nation of Cowards
“Laws disarming honest citizens proclaim that the government is the master, not the servant of the people”

Folks I am not here today on behalf of myself or the NRA or any political body. I am here out of love for the United States of America, and out of respect for those that gave all to protect our rights, from the Green at Lexington, to the trenches of France to Berlin, Iwo Jima, Chosen, Saigon and to today’s conflicts. Will we surrender our liberties and our rights, and the heritage of our children, for the government to enslave us with mandatory health care, and saddle future generations with the burden of extreme taxes? I hope I am not alone. Remember those that founded this great nation, came to build a new life with their hands and sweat, not a free handout.

Ben Franklin said: “They that can give up essential Liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither safety or liberty”

It is time the government listens whether it’s Washington DC, Columbus, or your local community that their power is granted by we the people, and the people have the right & responsibility to stop that power when it is taken to excess. Our rights come from a power higher than man, and their power comes from us.

Dwight Eisenhower said:”Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed-else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die”

But why the 2nd amendment at this gathering? When the founders formed the government they installed a series of checks and balances, and one of those checks and balances was the second amendment, it is not about hunting deer, it was to balance the power. If an elected official does not trust me with the correct tools to protect myself, my family and my country, how can I trust them? Who better to protect yourself, you or some bureaucrat? We are once again headed to the Supreme Court, to affirm this is an individual right, and not a collective one. The founders’ words were clear, why do today’s politicians not understand? Remember also that this right is threatened by not only our officials, but by the UN, and Mexico. Should we pay for crimes in Mexico? Should we bend our knees to the UN?

When you leave here today I hope you’ll take these words to heart: “If your elected officials do not understand something as simple as “Shall not be infringed” they are not fit for the duties bestowed upon them. It does not matter whether it’s the village the city or the state, if they cannot trust a citizen with an assault rifle, they cannot be trusted and it is our duty as citizens to replace them with those that do.

So you have a choice whether you are a subject or a citizen, if you are a subject rollover and do what you are told. If you are a citizen get active call, write, and email every candidate from the town council to 1600 Pennsylvania Av, and support those that support your beliefs
Thomas Jefferson stated: A government, big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough, to take everything you have.

Our rights will not perish with me
Thank you
