Prince Willam to visit Australia

The specially trained officers from the Australian Federal Police, NSW Police and Victoria Police along with the royal bodyguards will form a visible inner ring around the Prince. These officers will be armed with Glock pistols and lighter weapons such as Tasers.

Special operations police, armed with sub-machine guns and shotguns, drawn from NSW and Victoria will form another outer layer of protection for the young royal.

The Prince's security will be far more low-key than the operation planned to protect US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whose visit to Canberra and Melbourne was cancelled due to the Haiti earthquake

umm, here is Aust we're not totally banned from weapons (you really need to read my blog) ... self defence on the other hand is a very grey issue.

I do stop by from time to time.
Self defense should never be all that gray.
