I can't believe there is any sort of large-scale, systemic problem with the M&P. Sounds like mountain/molehill noises stemming from a few troopers limp-wristing the relatively hot .357 SIG. Bet if you put a 9mm M&P in their hand, it would run just fine. Or get them some grip exercisers...
