What's coming in Chicago?

Chicago gun owners could be required to register their weapons, purchase liability insurance and undergo criminal background checks and periodic firearms training, now that the U.S. Supreme Court has shot down the city's strictest-in-the-nation handgun ban.

Funny if this were required of felons, it would violate their constitutional rights, but requiring it of law-abiding citizens is not?
