Junk science study
The study is 14 years old, and at the time it was done, it was illegal in several of the states to carry a loaded gun concealed or in a vehicle.
About one third of firearm-related deaths involve alcohol. In the last three years, about 25 percent of gunshot-wound victims treated at UC Davis Medical Center tested positive for alcohol.
Of that 1/3 that involved alcohol, how many were the shooter, and how many were the victim?, Of that 1/3 that pulled the trigger were legally carrying the firearm, and under the influence of alcohol?
How many of the 25% wounded were engaged in an illegal act when they were shot?
