Headline: Welcome, NRA - and please don't shoot!

The city seems a bit overwhelmed by us, we can't carry at the convention hall, and anyone visiting the Time Warner Arena, had to "check" their knife at the door.

So yeah they want our money (est. 20 million will be dropped here this weekend), but not our guns. In the future I do hope that the NRA will find venues that welcome not only our money, but our firearms as well

The number being guessed at is 70,000 will attend, wake up Charlotte, that's 70,000 of the most law abiding people in the country.

If there are any shootings in Charlotte this weekend, they will more than likely be residents of the city, and not members of the NRA

What the Observer does not know about the NRA is apparent in the article, the bias is there, the NRA has never promoted that ether "insane criminals" or 8 year olds can aquire guns.
